My paintings are about the interaction of the human and divine addressing the underlying unity of all creation. I want to speak from and to our fundamental humanity, the ground of being. Light, manifest spirit, is the protagonist of all my work. Color is a variation
on a theme, and the theme is light. The paintings are also about painting itself. I make references to Christian and Biblical imagery, as well as to paintings and painters that are part of a tradition of painting that I am a part of, and who share the same intent.
